My name is Katie Slone and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor. If you are dealing with issues related to depression, anxiety, trauma, interpersonal relationships, and exploring LQBTQ+ concerns, I may be a good fit for you. My experience has focused on adolescents, teens and adults. I believe in evidence based treatments and also selecting methods that will best serve the individual.
I use a combination of CBT, DBT and humanistic modalities to treat my clients, as well as use art and other creative methods. I am excellent at building rapport with my clients and establishing a collaborative relationship, which is the foundation of any therapeutic work.
My ability to connect with clients and make the therapy process a comfortable one has led to many positive outcomes. I view client's success as the client being able to take what we have discussed in therapy and to apply learned skills to their lives.
