Hi! I’m so happy you’re here. I know how hard it is to take the first step of reaching out for support. My name is Katherine, you can call me Kate. I am both the founder of Monarch Therapy LLC and a Clinical Social Worker. My specialization is in trauma, and I am trained in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT).I primarily work with individuals ages 16 and older, however I do accept younger adolescents on a limited basis. I incorporate a variety of different treatment modalities into sessions depending on the unique needs and preferences of the client, however I tend to stick to TF-CBT, DBT, mindfulness and aspects of internal family systems (IFS) most frequently. I also utilize creative approaches to therapy such as art and therapeutic games to engage younger clients.
