Therapy is empowering and benefits a person’s overall mental and emotional well-being. I seek to provide a supportive and empathic environment where individuals can begin their emotional healing process while learning coping tools to support their goals. I have worked with adults, adolescents and children and realize that everyone has different lived experiences, and that one type of therapy does not fit all. I work with clients who have experienced depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, stress management, trauma, and abuse. It is my priority to provide a warm and safe environment for clients to begin their healing journey.
I am a fully licensed therapist with a history working in a college counseling center as well as in nonprofit settings. I am trained in multiple therapeutic modalities including EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness Self Compassion techniques, and Trauma Focused Behavioral Therapy.
I believe in meeting people where they are and that clients have autonomy and a voice within their therapeutic healing journey.
