Whether in person or online, I use an integrative approach of Art Therapy, CBT, and Talk Therapy in my work with children, adolescents, and adults. I believe in the healing power of art and creative self expression in ways that are beyond verbal articulation. You do not need to be an artist or creatively inclined in order to participate in Art Therapy. Rather, be open to the process of artmaking as a path to aid you in your healing journey. I use a trauma informed lens and person centered approach to my practice. Therapy is a collaborative process and I value your voice, thoughts, and emotions during our time together.
I love being present in the moment with you to hear the sorrows, hurts, and joys of your life. I will climb down into the pit with you or climb up those mountains to sit with you, listen, and say, "I hear you, I see you and you are not alone." Your voice is valuable and matters. I will do my best to see, listen, and uplift it.
Taking that first step into therapy can be daunting and unknown. Show up in any way you need to and I will be there to meet you. I will hold space for whatever you bring into session and walk alongside you in your healing journey towards acceptance, self worth, and hope. Come just as you are.
