Life can be overwhelming when we are experiencing conflict, negative thoughts and feelings. My goal is to help you feel truly satisfied and reach your potential. I enjoy working with young adults and adults. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, and ADHD. For the first few sessions, we will discuss your history and the impact it has on your day to day life. We will then discuss various approaches to help you feel better, and together, we will develop a treatment plan to help you reach realistic goal. I am registered Clinical Supervisor for LGPC and a Nationally Certified Sign Language Interpreter.
We will utilize a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) framework, with healthy and effective techniques from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT); emphasizing coping skills to help you better manage difficult emotions. Collaboration and referrals to a Psychiatrist can be provided when medication management is needed
The fit between a client and therapist is essential for a successful therapeutic relationship. I know it can be difficult finding "the right" therapist, and would be happy to first speak with you on the phone, and answer any questions you may have before you decide to schedule an appointment.
