Hi, my name is Kate and I am an LCSW providing outpatient therapy in North Carolina. I am part of the LGBTQ+ community and enjoy working with clients from all backgrounds. I have an MSW from the University of West Florida and have been practicing for over 8 years in North Carolina. I have worked in inpatient, community and outpatient settings providing me with a wealth of experiences to draw from in order to fit your specific therapeutic needs.
The approach to therapy depends on you and where you are in your therapeutic journey. I use a combination of evidenced-based models to best fit your needs and goals including but not limited to solutions focused therapy, CBT and family structural therapy. As a provider I am both LGBTQ+ identified and allied.
I enjoy an conversational approach therapy. I feel this is the best way to get to know the you and build rapport. I employ a mix of therapeutic models to best suit your needs and goals.
