If you're worried about your teen, I am ready to help. Having spent years working with young adults and adolescents who are struggling, I am skilled in providing support in a caring, non-judgmental way. Together I work with clients to lay down the groundwork of self-compassion to build healthier thinking, behaviors, and relationships. Over time, my teen clients have more insight and skills to use in their daily lives. My experiences working in residential substance abuse and eating disorder facilities have helped me connect with teens and develop an arsenal of skills to assist even the most withdrawn adolescent.
I have a passion for working with adults and children, especially teens. I connect well with adolescents over humor and artistic passions. I love to work with families, helping them cultivate both boundaries with and affection for each other. My approach is client-centered and intuitive.
My work with clients is bolstered by many interventions, including but not limited to psychodynamic therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, somatic therapy, religious and spiritual therapies, mindfulness therapy, grief counseling, and more. I'm here, so please reach out.
