I have over 20 years of experience helping adolescents, adults, and couples navigate difficult times, confusing and debilitating feelings, and complicated relationships. My treatment approach starts with the client--with the belief that everyone is exquisitely unique--and therefore therapy is not one-size-fits-all. I believe that being genuine with clients is essential; in my office you will find a healing conversation, not talking to a stone wall.
I am an ICEEFT Certified Emotionally Focused Therapist (EFT), which means I have undergone rigorous training and supervision in EFT, including having videotaped segments of my work reviewed by the ICEEFT Board. I also have training in the most researched and effective psychotherapies-- Psychodynamic Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
