Welcome folks! I am a queer therapist who focuses on working with folks surviving trauma and those in the LGBTQIA+ community. Experiencing trauma of any kind can have a profound effect on the way you view yourself, the world, and others. My primary focus as your counselor is creating a sense of safety, and prioritizing connection with you as a person. Healing from trauma is challenging, and my goal is to allow for a space that is both repairing and empowering. It can also be challenging to find therapists that are truly LGBTQIA+ affirming. An important part of my work is intentionally creating a space for the LGBTQIA+ community.
I have both extensive training and experience in providing trauma therapy to survivors of childhood trauma, and sexual violence. My approach is deeply rooted in attachment, and relational healing. As someone who is queer, I also have experience addressing issues related to identity exploration, coming out, gender dysphoria, and family conflict.
