The most challenging and rewarding journey you can take in life is the one requiring you to go within and discover yourself, your strengths and the places that need healing. It is my goal to provide a protected and therapeutic space for you to take this journey of discovery. Problems affect people in unique ways and requires a personalized approach for whatever the issue is that brings you to the journey, life transition, grief and loss, relationship issues, anxiety, chronic illness, trauma, depression. My experience has been forged over 35 years in the Health and Mental Health field.
My work is psychodynamic in orientation with the goal of symptom relief, personal development, and support for the creation of a self-directed and meaningful life. In order to sustain physical and emotional health, attention to the mind body connection is woven into the therapeutic process.
To assist the therapeutic process I offer sand play therapy for adults. Sand play is a form of expressive therapy using miniature symbols as a portal to self-knowledge across the life span. Sand play work provides a physical connection to the body as well as the ability to gain understanding of the world within.
