You cram a handful of cashews in your mouth on the way to get your next client. If you end this session on time, you can pee before the next one. Ope - your phone’s buzzing - crap, it’s daycare. “So much for peeing,” you think, as you answer the call. Two degrees, a practicum, three internships, and 3,000 supervised hours to birth the therapist inside you. Yet no one told you the woman/mother/daughter/sister/wife/friend parts of you might wither and die in the process.
