My approach is welcoming to all, understanding that the therapy space we build together will be a combination of the expertise you have in your own life and the experience I bring from empirically informed methods. My clients span from adults working on parent-child relationships to professionals in the workplace dealing with stressors in their couple, their self-esteem, or their experience being a POC in the workplace. I believe all of my clients have the tools within themselves to alleviate their pain, and I work to lift constraints that prevent them from using these tools, being led by the clients' goals for therapy.
I utilize an integrative and holistic approach to therapy that allows my clients strengths to ground our collaborative work. My attachment, mind-body, and systemic lenses create a therapy experience that provides meaningful and steady change to the detrimental patterns in clients' lives that seem too strong to change.
Therapy work is personal, but not all stressors come from individuals. I take a culturally humble lens to my work, understanding systems of oppression are often stressors in our lives. I continuously work on educating myself on biases and building spaces for my clients to feel seen.
