Hola and welcome! I am Karina Olivas, Owner of Vida Marriage and Family Therapy, Pllc. I would like to acknowledge what a big step it is to be seeking a therapist, and say I have been there! Our parents, families and culture provide such insight into how we behave and react in relationships including partnerships, parenting, friendships and familial relationships. The curiosity of wanting to understand why people are the way that they are started me on the journey to become a therapist.
I see couples, families, individuals and children. My practical approach to therapy makes healing/coping/changing tangible and accessible. I use and integrated approach including Solution Focused Approaches, as well as Narrative and Emotionally Focused Therapies, however, I will focus on what best works for you and your growth.
