I specialize in working with women in young adulthood and midlife who struggle with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, identity-related questions, difficulties "launching" into adulthood, "family history stuff," existential malaise, the perimenopausal & menopausal transitions, spiritual concerns, and issues related to gender and sexuality. My goal is to help you experience greater self-awareness, freedom, and comfort in your skin. My style is warm and compassionate, while also being direct and (oftentimes) challenging. I bring humor to the therapeutic process and love what I do for a living.
I understand that therapy is a significant commitment in terms of time, money, and emotional resources, and my commitment is to work collaboratively and efficiently with you without sacrificing depth and quality.
Since the start of the pandemic, I've been conducting sessions via teletherapy, which I've come to trust as a powerful and effective therapeutic modality. Please visit my website to learn more about my practice: www.drkarinarndt.com (as well as my blog, "A Hut of Her Own" on Psychology Today). I look forward to speaking with you.
