Hello! The steps you’re taking to search for a therapist are important. Although it can be overwhelming, I encourage you to not give up. As for my services, I specialize in trauma-related issues that have caused ongoing problems for my clients. My clinical experience includes a range of childhood traumas to events experienced as an adult. Unresolved trauma masks itself in a variety of troubling ways. You may feel anxious, emotionally detached, or easily overwhelmed. You may even question whether or not what you've experienced is "trauma". My sessions are in-person although I do offer Telehealth sessions for occasional use as needed.
In addition to being a clinically licensed practitioner, I am also a certified trauma therapist. My methods involve resolving issues of trauma and trauma-related grief and building resiliency.
While I believe that our own experiences impact who we are and how we relate to the world, I also believe our resiliency plays a major role - and resiliency can be learned and strengthened at almost any age. I invite you to read more about my methods on my website.
