I offer sensitivity toward all individuals, and I am passionate about helping my clients achieve healing, personal growth, and self-compassion. I treat individuals with depression, anxiety, and PTSD. I have experience with trauma and abuse, difficulty adjusting to life transitions, emotional overwhelm, interpersonal problems, and grief and loss. I am skilled in treating clients who would like to change their view of self and others.
I have been trained in EMDR, an empirically proven intervention for treating trauma, and soon Emotionally Focused Therapy. I also provide DBT therapy. My approach is collaborative, in which I incorporate my client's self-processes into their healing journey. For those who want a faith-based approach, I offer spiritually supportive counseling.
Leaning into hard experiences can be scary to do alone. I provide safety, warmth, and compassion. I offer empathy to help clients develop courage to experience emotions, heal from pain, and pursue hope. Although I am a licensed counselor, I work as a pre-licensed professional under the supervision of licensed psychologist, Dr Robin Potter.
