I have over twenty years in the counseling field and work with older adolescents and adults struggling with mood disorders, grief and loss, behavioral struggles, trauma, difficult life transitions, women’s issues., disordered eating, low self-esteem, among others. I offer Christian counseling for those who prefer a faith-based perspective.
I use an integrated approach to therapy implementing such techniques as dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) skills, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approaches, Mindfulness, Motivational Interviewing (MI), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and trauma-informed approaches.
