When choosing a therapist it is important to seek someone who is well trained and has a significant amount of experience. Throughout my career I have helped many people with a broad range of difficulties including: anxiety, depression, marital problems, parental issues, family problems, gender issues and more. I interact freely with my clients sharing with them the obstacles that are preventing them finding resolutions to their difficulties. In a supportive non judgmental and collaborative atmosphere I encourage clients to become curious about themselves and to understand the roadblocks that prevent them from solving their difficulties.
I interact quite a bit with my clients.I don't sit with long silences. I maintain personal boundaries but will tell some personal stories if relevant. I have an analytic framework, but I am also practical and give suggestions and find resources for clients when indicated.
