My name is Karen Charles and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Georgia. In addition to my state licensure, I have earned credentials as a Certified Master Addiction Counselor in the state of Georgia. I graduated from Thomas University in 2009 with a Master's in Rehabilitation Counseling and in 2004 with a Bachelor's in Social Work.
The first session will focus on rapport building, gathering information about the challenges the individual is experiencing, and the desired goals one plan to achieve.
I am compassionate, understanding, a good listener, empathetic, supportive and nonjudgmental. I accept clients where she or he is currently at in life. I look forward to the opportunity to helping you achieve your personal goals.
