At times, we can feel totally overwhelmed...that our life has become out of control. We realize our pain and fears have begun guiding our lives or we may find ourselves in situations/ relationships we never thought we'd be in...perhaps a result of a traumatic event, perhaps a spouse/ parent/ other made hard choices and you are trying to pick up the pieces (i.e., depression, loss of purpose), or you have made the tough decisions and are now dealing with addiction, anxiety, etc. This pain and disruption may seem overwhelming, but from it we have the opportunity to heal, become stronger & learn more about ourselves and about God.
I've worked as a Christian/Biblical therapist with teens and adults for over 25 years. My specialties/certifications include abuse, addiction (chemical & process), depression, identity and relational issues, pre-marital counseling, abortion recovery and overcoming one’s own mental strongholds (including guilt, shame, and/or self-loathing).
Incorporating biblical truths and perspectives into a Cognitive Behavioral framework, my focus is to provide the tools necessary to get a life (back) to freedom and thriving.
