Thought disorders, mood disorders, addiction and trauma can compound these challenges, but they are not insurmountable. Inevitably, life is comprised of connections, disconnections, and reconnections.
A therapeutic relationship is built on trust, which can only exist in an atmosphere that is respectful and nonjudgmental. Together we can create a plan that sets benchmarks for success and identifies obstacles that might be interfering with progress. My journey has led me to an holistic approach which includes attentive listening to words and to silences.
