My approach to therapy is laid back and casual. I tend to use a lot of humor, metaphors, and movie references in my work, and am a firm believer that sometimes we just need to laugh to get us through the rough stuff. I’m here to help you to learn new skills to manage your symptoms, understand them, improve your overall functioning, and feel more hopeful.
My hope is that over time, we can build a trusting therapeutic relationship where you feel understood and validated. As a first generation college graduate from a blue collar family, I strive to create a relaxed environment where you feel empowered to be yourself, be sweary if you need to, and not feel smothered by clinical jargon.
