My goal is to help my clients find relief through utilizing Somatic Experience (SE) and years of other modalities, to help clients with anxiety, depression, and past trauma. I use a combination of SE and talk therapy. Often this approach works well where you have done years of therapy and something is missing. Somatic Experiencing, was created by Peter Levine "He believed trauma gets trapped in the body, leading to symptoms possibly of PTSD ." Through this method, practitioners work on releasing this stress from the body which could show up as many syndromes (mental to medical diagnosis)
I will work with you to become more aware of your body in a safe environment. I educate clients on their nervous systems. Somatic experiencing practitioners use a framework known as SIBAM (Sensation, Imagery, Behavior, Affect, and Meaning) to help clients incorporate their bodies, in therapy,
