I’m Dr. Kara Mild and I believe in the inherent worth and potential of every individual. My approach to healing is grounded in the principles of humanistic therapy, where empathy, genuine understanding, and unconditional positive regard are the cornerstones of our work together. Life can sometimes make us feel misunderstood, isolated, or unheard. These feelings can stem from various experiences—whether it's from our relationships, our past, or simply the challenges of daily life. In our therapeutic journey, my goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions.
I offer twenty years of experience in the mental health field. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a widely used, evidence-based form of psychotherapy that focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviors. I will support and challenge you using CBT and Narrative Therapy.
I am honored every time an individual trusts me with their mental and emotional health needs. Are you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or stuck? Seeking therapy can be a powerful step toward understanding and overcoming your challenges. Please don't suffer in silence when help is available.
