I work with children (ages 5 and older), adolescents, and families dealing with a multitude of challenges. I have experience in working with anxiety, divorce, blended families, ADHD, and behavioral issues. I aspire to help others through showing compassion and creativity in each session.
I see counseling as a journey and each theoretical approach used is unique to the needs of each client. I use evidence-based theories such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solutions Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Person-Centered Therapy (PCT). I also incorporate creative interventions such as expressive art and play to make therapy a fun experience.
