We all have moments when we struggle. Times when we feel overwhelmed, overcome with sadness or worry. In those moments, it may feel that our best is not enough. But no one should have to carry that weight alone. Therapy can help remind us that our worth is not defined by our lowest moments. To help us learn that “I'm not perfect... But I'm enough.” ― Carl R. Rogers.
I'm a clinical psychologist at McLean Hospital, and an Instructor at Havard Medical School. I am trained in evidence-based interventions, including CBT, DBT, and ACT. However, I do not believe that any single manualized treatment can be the best course for everyone. My therapeutic approach is person-centered, letting your needs and experiences guide therapy.
Reading through generic profiles online to find someone you might connect with is no easy task! You have already taken the first step by looking for a therapist that fits your needs. Please feel free to reach out for a phone consultation to see if we might work together to help you navigate those challenging moments and feel like "enough".
