Hello! My name is Kaitlyn, and I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker with a Master’s Degree from Loyola University Chicago (MSW, LISW-S). My goal is to start with you wherever you are in your healing process and assist you throughout your journey by providing an empathetic, safe space for you to be able to express yourself. Not only can I help you with addressing various thoughts and feelings related to mental health, but I can also provide broader ideas that might provide you with different ways of thinking about your wellbeing to better assist you in your journey.
My passion is working with marginalized groups of people to assist with addressing oppressive and systemic barriers to basic human rights. I am constantly educating myself about current events that relate to social policy at both micro and macro levels so that I can better advocate for not only my clients, but myself as well.
I provide therapy services to adolescent and young adult clients on an individual level through use of various therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) , Person-Centered Therapy, Strengths-Based Approach, and Solutions-Focused Therapy. I typically work with those struggling with anxiety, depression, and other life-related stressors.
