I am a licensed clinical professional counselor with almost nine of years of experience serving clients and patients in multiple levels of care including, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient. Having had needed my own therapist as an adolescent and periodically throughout my adult life, I knew I wanted to pay my own experience forward and provide a space for all who I would see that is welcoming, safe, and empathetically understanding. It is my belief that those three characteristics provide a foundation to therapy for individuals to make profound changes to their life.
When with clients, I pull from multiple different psycho-therapeutic approaches, such as Psychodynamic, Family Systems, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and Acceptance Commitment Therapy to process and treat symptoms being presented.
My therapeutic approach is very client-centered and individualized to meet each person where they are, as they are. I work with clients in recentering their life compass by guiding them back to their values, and teaching them how to approach life obstacles in a new and productive way.
