Kaitlin is an art therapist and provisionally licensed professional counselor. She provides art therapy and/or talk therapy. She has experience with clients struggling with attachment concerns usually related to adoption and foster care. She provides a safe environment for teens and adults to work through the ups and downs of life. These can range from solely talk therapy to exploring other forms of expression (e.g., art) to working through the passing of a loved one or suicidal ideation. Kaitlin offers the opportunity express, process, and experience those ups and downs, build confidence, and to feel heard, understood, and valued.
Kaitlin is currently working toward grief counseling certification while her dog, Ellie, works toward therapy dog certification. Once certified, Ellie will be able to assist Kaitlin in sessions to provide more therapy services to clients and offer a comforting presence while processing potentially difficult topics.
