Are you a parent of a kiddo that’s having a hard time? Maybe there’s hitting, yelling, and tantrums, or negative language directed towards themselves or others. Perhaps they are struggling to process a difficult event in their life, whether that’s a death in the family, bullying, or divorce. Maybe you're not exactly sure why they're acting out. I work with children experiencing big behaviors, low self-esteem, and difficulty in transitions. I know, as you likely do, that these are good kids having a hard time. I have a passion for working with non-traditional families, and those who have experienced trauma and/or deep loss and grief.
In our sessions, children experience a felt-sense of safety and co-regulation alongside their hard to feel feelings. I view play as the natural way in which kids communicate and process their emotional lives. In our time together, your child and I will focus on awareness building, emotional regulation, and deepening their connection to self and others.
It is an honor and a privilege to be invited into your child’s world. I have always cared deeply for those who might feel alone, different, or misunderstood. My background in body psychotherapy provides me with a unique perspective and ability to be fully present with your kid while guiding them through this challenging time.
