I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who utilizes a person-centered, relational approach. I am trained in behavioral modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I work closely with clients to learn ways to tolerate distress and regulate their emotions while learning to recover from difficult experiences. For more information on my approach please see my practice website at www.elysiumcounseling.org
I work with individuals across the lifespan who struggle with complex mental health concerns. My background includes working in hospitals on inpatient units and partial/residential programs with acute mental health concerns. I have also trained at various local college counseling centers where I worked extensively with emerging adults.
I work to create a safe environment for clients to discuss their challenges. A strong therapeutic alliance is important for clients to gain insight and learn coping skills. I strive to help clients to work on building a life worth living and navigating all that comes with it.

DBT Workshop for Teens
Being a teenager can be really hard, and experiencing intense, painful emotions are inevitably part of that experience. Our online DBT workshop is specifically designed to help adolescents regulate their emotions, tolerate distress, communicate effectively, and become mindful individuals. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an evidenced-based practice that is effective in treating a wide range of clinical challenges including emotional dysregulation, lashing out, unstable relationships, high-risk behaviors, impulsivity, mood instability, and poor boundaries.
