With over 25 years in grief and bereavement, I have seen that unresolved issues of grief, bereavement and loss block many people from moving on , cause depression and keep them from healthy relationships. I also have seen that students with disabilities are unprepared for life after HS. Providing transition services is essential
Often we feel so overwhelmed by sorrow, depression or the events of life that it is hard to believe life can be better. Having been there, I know, feelings of despair and anxiety can be paralyzing. Groups
Bereavement and loss
I will be offering a variety of groups for the bereaved including parents who have lost children, those who have lost loved ones in tragic circumstances, those who have lost loved ones after a serious illness and other focused groups. I will also be be providing special workshops on creating communication books called "Conversations with you" Books to help people in complicated grief deal with processing their grief . These groups can also be focused on other losses such as divorce, family estrangements and relationship alienation
