Therapy is a process of self discovery, insight, deep emotional healing and positive change. I provide a safe and compassionate space for you to process your unique life experiences. Together, we can make connections, gain insight and question some of the underlying, unconscious, and outdated patterns that may be keeping you stuck or holding you back. My primary interests are working with both men and women with anxiety, depression, addiction, life transitions, relationship challenges, emotional abuse, and early childhood trauma. Additionally, I enjoy couples work and have extensive training in Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy.
My approach to therapy is eclectic and curious. My sessions are unique as I take an active approach in challenging my clients to consider experience and emotion from alternate perspectives, then sitting with the resultant feeling. Together, we will explore and utilize progressive interventions including role play, thought experiments, humor, and metaphor.
