As a therapist, I work collaboratively with my clients to identify and achieve their goals. I believe that within each of us lives an innate drive towards wholeness and transformation. Some people call this drive an "inner healer". Through cultivating greater self-awareness and acceptance of the patterns and behaviors we want to change, I believe we can make way for this natural process of transformation to emerge to live life more fully and authentically.
My therapeutic approach uses compassion, humor, and creativity to address a range of concerns. I work with individuals, couples, and families working with anxiety, depression, trauma, sexuality, life transitions, issues related to im/migration, and questions of meaning making and purpose.
I practice a queer affirming psychology from a multicultural perspective and am bilingual in English and Spanish. I'm trained in psychodynamic, relational, and transpersonal approaches to therapy and certified in hypnotherapy and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). I also work with creatives dealing with issues around burnout, inspiration, and motivation.
