I have been working in the field of mental health for over 30 years and am comfortable working with a wide range of issues. My approach with individuals is holistic, person centered, humanistic and strengths-based, seeing my role as a helpful guide as I work with individuals to navigate the sometimes rocky storms and transitions of life. Together we will identify what may be keeping you stuck and formulate a plan to build a bridge towards wellness. Working with individuals with chronic invisible illnesses such as Lyme Disease, Fibromyalgia, Arthritis, Chronic Fatigue, Anxiety, and Depression is an area of great passion for me.
I approach treatment with an open mind, eager to understand and hear your story. Treatment modalities I use depends upon each individuals needs. I utilize CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Solution Focused Therapy, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy. Together, we will identify your goals and discover your natural strengths to achieve them.
Asking for help is one of the most courageous things a person can do when they are struggling. It is my fullest desire to meet you wherever you are at, without judgement or shame and support you to overcome the obstacles you are currently facing. If you feel my approach would be a good fit for you, please reach out to set up an initial consultation.
