I enjoy helping individuals and families to navigate difficult life transitions, such as adolescence, by supporting them in managing the stressors that accompany these times. In my work, I use multiple modalities as well as my many years of experience to develop individualized treatment plans for my clients. In work that we do, my hope is that you will feel a sense of relief and accomplishment as you progress towards your personal mental health goals.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have been working in the mental health field in Asheville for the past 10 years. I specialize in DBT and Attachment based modalities. I offer individual and family therapy and I enjoy working with adolescents.
I believe that each individual is entitled to a safe space to share their experience and to be provided with helpful tools so that they may navigate the world more effectively. I believe that when people are able to communicate their feelings and validate the feelings of their loved ones they experience less stress and feel more fulfilled with life.
