I have experience working with a diverse group of individuals ranging in age from early childhood to late adulthood to treat the following concerns: depression, anxiety, Borderline Personality Disorder, impulsivity and anger management difficulties. I am skilled in the following approaches to psychotherapy: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution Focused Therapy. I also use a modified version of Dialectical Behavior Therapy during individual therapy sessions (I do not provide group therapy or telephone check-ins or consultations at this time).
I earned a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Psychology with an Emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pepperdine University in 2005, and completed my undergraduate studies at Louisiana State University, in Baton Rouge, LA in 2003. I became licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in 2012.
I look forward to meeting you and helping you work toward achieving your desired outcomes.
