My ideal client is motivated to improve their lives in whatever way is important to that person and is committed to treatment and open minded about trying new ways to manage difficulties. That could mean talking about past traumas to identifying steps towards wellness in the present.
I have a strong ability to build rapport and help clients feel comfortable. I have worked with a variety of populations and want to help individuals find their best life; on their own terms. I specialized in substance abuse, trauma, anxiety and depression. I am comfortable seeing someone who is new to treatment and perhaps cynical about the process as well.
