I am Julie Zubryd, a Licensed Professional Counselor. I provide individual therapy in person in Robinson Township, PA, or via telehealth in PA. I treat a variety of conditions including (but not limited to) anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, trauma, abuse, family issues, relationship dysfunction, life transitions, work stress, and assertiveness training. I work with individuals 18+. I create a safe and supportive environment for my clients. I allow the client to guide their treatment and goals along with me in order to help them develop a sense of autonomy and success. I think that allowing the client to set their goals and help create cognitive and behavioral homework to aid in their treatment and progress.
First sessions are typically a gathering of information and not as much "therapy" as subsequent sessions. The first session will be the discussion of the presenting problem, the client's history, and the creation of goals.
