Loss happens throughout life, and grief is inevitable. Our society doesn’t want to talk about loss, so we may not learn how to cope with loss or how to process our grief. The people around us may not know what to say or how to be helpful. Working through your grief is hard, and counseling can help. I provide a safe and supportive environment for those struggling with loss, and I would be honored to walk with you through your grief journey.
My style has been described as warm, kind, and relatable. I am empathetic, compassionate, and client focused. I’ve been told many times by my struggling clients that my demeanor and comforting words help them feel better, and my insight helps them view things differently.
I have found that healing can occur through short term or longer term therapeutic relationships, so I encourage those who are ambivalent about counseling or are fearful of making a long term commitment to still call or email. I look forward to hearing from you.
