I want to help support you therapeutically so that you can best support your students and families.
I am an LICSW and previously worked in a school setting for 7 years, as well as a former elementary school teacher. I also work with parents (many of whom are teachers themselves) in supporting their own children during infancy and toddler years to build strong and healthy attachment relationships.
I offer a flexible, supportive and collaborative environment, utilizing tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing as well as other diverse therapeutic approaches. My goal is to help you learn about yourself as not only a teacher, but a person, and the skills to help you balance your multiple and challenging roles at work and in life.
