Finding a therapist is stressful. Especially if it's the first time (but perhaps even more so if it's the 7th, 8th, 11th time). I believe strongly that the therapeutic relationship is critical in promoting growth and change, and I am dedicated to providing a safe space where we can work together to figure out a path for you to heal and thrive. I come to each of my sessions with an open mind, and I am flexible in my approach. I know that therapy is not a "one-size-fits-all" kind of thing, therefore I tailor my approach to your individual needs and unique goals.
That said, I am a big fan of research and have spent quite a lot of my life investigating the sociocultural, interpersonal, and neurobiological factors that impact our mental health. I have also studied a wide variety of evidence-based treatments (e.g., ACT, CBT, DBT, ERP, IFS, NET, etc.), and I draw from these approaches when indicated.
