Julie Willett is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who enjoys working with adults, teens. Julie borrows from several theories of psychology operating primarily as a cognitive behaviorist with a distinctly Christian worldview. As a Christian counselor, she helps clients consider all issues and relationships under the authority of scripture, looking to scripture for comfort and encouragement as well as insight and instruction for personal growth. Julie has experience with in-patient, out-patient community mental health, and private Christian counseling settings. She took a break from clinical social work for several years to homeschool and focus on family life and is now returning to clinical work. Julie has been married for 20+ years and has three teenage children.
Julie understands that changes in technology and culture are compounding life’s struggles for many and are contributing to depression, anxiety, and addictive behaviors. She continues to pursue training in ERP, Trauma Focused CBT, and Internal Family Systems. Julie also incorporates the teachings and resources of CCEF.
