I am a compassionate therapist with over 10 years of counseling experience specializing in working with teenagers and adults with trauma, depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, family relationship problems, anger, grief and loss, life changes and navigating adulthood. I am EMDR trained and use EMDR to help process trauma. I can help you move from feeling stuck and incapable of change to a place of freedom and relief. In addition to EMDR, I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Polyvagal Theory, Solution Focused and Internal Family Systems.
I also implement expressive arts therapy into my sessions, such as art-based interventions, guided mediation or journaling. These creative methods can help clients tap into their inner wisdom, cultivate self-awareness, and develop coping strategies to live a more fulfilling life.
I strive to create a safe and nonjudgmental space for clients to explore their emotions and work towards healing and personal growth. I have a Master's degree in Social Work from Arizona State University. I welcome anyone seeking support and I'm looking forward to meeting you.
