I know how exhausting trying to find a therapist can be. You just want someone who gets it, understand you and helps you feel better. This sucks. Not feeling good sucks. I have my LMSW in both CT and NY and I specialize in anxiety, depression, disordered eating and body image struggles for teens and adults. I deeply understand “feelers” and highly sensitive people and how common it is to feel misunderstood. Prior to private practice, I worked as a therapist for adolescents with eating disorders at the PHP/IOP level.
I believe that all parts of you are connected and your body holds so much wisdom that often we cut ourselves off from. In our healing work together, we will use inner child work, the mind + body connection, self-compassion, emotion processing and CBT/DBT tools. I am already looking forward to meeting you.
