Therapy can begin when you feel like you are struggling with yourself or with others. I collaborate with clients with a non-judgmental and person-centered approach to help them feel more like themselves. I have a diverse background and utilize various clinical tools to support clients in identifying ways to change thoughts and behaviors. I am a social worker at heart who strongly believes in the dignity and worth of every person. I will hold space and recognize that you are the expert of your own life.
While I see people with a variety of concerns, one of my clinical interests is perinatal mental health. I have experiences with postpartum depression and anxiety, grief and loss, infertility, and birth trauma. I also have a soft spot for folks who are dealing with aging parents.
Whether you are struggling with anxiety or depression, need an extra person to help you work through challenges around life’s many transitions and stressors, or need support around figuring out how to balance parenting with other aspects of life, I will work with you to explore feelings and strategies, often blending together humor with compassion.
