My clinical environment is warm and nurturing but I like to be productive in therapy. I want you to get better. My practice is very comfortable and relaxed. We try to make everyone feel welcome. I want you to feel like you are taking a momentary break from the stress of the world and taking some deep breaths. I am currently taking nursing school classes completing my requirements for my doctorate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. My degree is in children and families. I am ready for whatever you have to bring to treatment year 27! I have seen clients from ages 4 to 91. I was Chief Human Rights officer for SSMH.
I was Assistant Director of Psychiatric Emergency Services covering 3 Emergency Departments as well as Assistant Director of a Crisis Stablization unit. Eleven years of work out of 6 area emergency rooms has substantiated the breadth and width of my clinical skills. I was also a senior research assistant at Harvard School of Public Health.
I worked at the Harvard JFK School of government and was a field supervisor for BC School of Social Work. I also supervised state child welfare practice. It’s almost year 30 of social work for me between grad and undergrad work. It’s very hard to surprise me so don't be afraid to come in. Someone has come before and left feeling better! It’s a safe space.
