Your ability to seek out resources amidst the pain is a magnificent part of you, and I want to speak to that part. It is important that you remember that growth and healing is not about fixing what is “wrong” with you because you are not broken. Instead of fixing, our time together will be an exploration of all parts of you, one of curiosity and compassion, designed to unearth and liberate the wisdom that already exists inside of you. Going to therapy doesn’t mean that you can’t handle life’s challenges on our own. Rather, it’s a gift that you give yourself to stay mentally and emotionally fit.
I help people with self expression, authenticity, motivation, living with meaning, healing and hope; all while providing a safe container to excavate the things that may be too uncomfortable to face on their own. I believe that while people have an innate inner healing wisdom, they still need caring people to shine a light as they find their way.
Since practicing for 22+ years, I am trained in most of the therapy abbreviations: IFS, EMDR, DBT, ACT, EFT, Gottman Method, Sex therapy, Psychedelic Assisted Psychotherapy & others. Clients working with me report feeling increased self trust and resilience, leave with tangible tools/skills, and are more resourced to navigate their lives outside of therapy.
