Many of us fear the idea of sharing our struggles or pain with others for fear of judgment or rejection. My goal for myself is to create an honest, open space for my clients. I will strive to help gain perspective, actively listen, nurse heart wounds, introduce new coping skills, challenge false beliefs/thought processes, and help my clients reach their goals. I desire that my clients be equipped with tools and the confidence to face the ups and downs in life. In the end, to work myself out of a job is a success and my goal.
As a Christian who is a counselor, my faith molds my perspective and enables me to show kindness and grace to my clients regardless of their religious beliefs. I am passionate about walking with clients through painful life circumstances and reminding them of the beautiful truths written in God’s Word (as much as they would like incorporated).
