I work with adolescents, young adults, and adults who struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, oppositional defiant disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, school challenges, family conflict, life transitions, disordered eating, grief and loss, substance abuse, sports performance concerns, personality disorders, and severe mental illness.
I am particularly skilled in helping adolescents and young adults work through challenging life transitions, life stressors, trauma, and sports performance concerns. I also have extensive past experience in the veterinary field and provide services for medical and veterinary professionals working through grief and loss, burnout, and secondary trauma.
I engage with my clients in a culturally competent manner, identifying and respecting racial, ethnic, sexual orientation, gender identity, socioeconomic, and values-based differences. I work from a strengths-based perspective and tailor each session to the needs of my client, using a variety of modalities.
